āIn a world where most Comedy Writing jobs last anywhere from 13 weeks to three or four years, Mike Jann worked with me for 22 years. Good comedy writers are hard to find; finding one that consistently turn out product for that long is pretty much the Holy Grail. To make it in this business you have to think funny, thatās the easy part for you because it comes naturally. With this book Mike can give you his decades of experience on how he did it. I highly recommend it.ā ā ā

10 weeks. A small group ā 8-12 writers - never more. Fun scene-writing assigments, table reads of your actual scenes, every week, until theyāre actually good.
No boring notes ā I will tell you to your face!
Iāve spent a decade watching the light go on in studentsā eyes the moment their scenes finally click.
I love this shit! Come misbehave with me!
We made a movie about misbehaving bugs!

Jay Leno & Tom Green
Itās a story about a mosquito who faints at the sight of blood.
